Biography Jessie Krienert is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice Sciences. Her research interests are corrections, gender and technology, and women’s issues relating to prison, poverty, and gangs. Krienert is currently co-principal investigator on a National Institute of Justice grant concerning inmate subculture.
