BiographyKyle Ciani, assistant professor of history, teaches United States and North American women’s history, the family in history, U.S. history since 1945, and topics in U.S. history. Additionally, she teaches HIS 300 (Senior Seminar) with the theme "Women's Activism in the 20th Century." Ciani’s research interests revolve around the histories of wage earning and social justice in the United States with a particular focus on parenting and childcare. Her areas of expertise include American women, social justice, and family. She earned her Ph.D. in the history of women and gender from Michigan State University, and M.A. and B.A. degrees from the University of San Diego. | ||||
